Gothic Woman


SUPPLIES

Paint Shop Pro
This tutorial was written in version 10, but this will work in your version
Kit used is called Gothic Girl from Designs by Claudia
This kit is exclusivley for puchase at Sweet Pinup which you can get from here
Tube used is Midnight from Keith Garvey
This tube is PTU and you need a licence in order use it

Font used is called Gothikka for the main and Tahoma (Anti-alias Off) for the copyright
Both are free fonts that you can get on the web

Open a new document that 600x600

In the Elements folder open CC_ Element 35.
Image >> Resize and resize that to 70%.
Edit >> Copy, on to your blank canvas, Edit >> Paste As A New Layer.
Grab your Magic Wand Tool and select in the middle of the frame.
Selections >> Expand and in the box type in 3 and click OK.

In the Papers folder open CC_ Paper 9, resize to 65%, copy and paste that to your tag as layer, Selections >> Invert, hit Delete on the keyboard and Selections >> None.
Layers >> Arrange >> Move Down.

Open your Garvey-Midnight tubes, select Layer2 and copy and paste that as a new image.
Resize that to 70%, copy and paste that as a new layer to tag and position.
Check my tag for the position.
Grab your Freehand Selection Tool and select the bottom of the tube and hit Delete.



Change the layer mode to Screen and Opacity to 80.

Click on the frame layer and go to Effects >> 3D Effects >> Drop Shadow.
Settings used are:
Vertical & Horizontal: 0
Opacity: 100
Blur: 5
Color: Black

Go back to your tubes, this time select Raster1 and copy and paste that as a new image.
Resize that to 80%, copy and paste that as a new layer to your tag, Image >> Mirror, apply the same drop shadow and position.
Check my tag for the position.

Back in the Elements folder open CC_ Element 5, resize that to 13, copy and paste that to your tag as a new layer, apply the same drop shadow and position.
Check my tag for the position.

Open CC_ Element 6, resize that to 13%, copy and paste that to your tag as a new layer and mirror.
Image >> Free Rotate and settings used are:
Direction: Left
Degrees: Check free and in the box type in 50
Leave everything else alone and and click OK
Apply the same drop shadow and position.
Check my tag for the position.

Open CC_ Element 21, resize that to 30%, copy and paste that to your tag as a new layer to your tag, Mirror, apply the same drop shadow and position.
Check my tag for the position.

Open CC_ Element 18, resize that to 20%, copy and paste that as a new layer to your tag, apply the same drop shadow and position.
Check my tag for the position.

Open CC_ Element 9, resize that to 20%, copy and paste that as a new layer to your tag, press Shift > & L on the keyboard, Hue & Saturation to 0, apply the same drop shadow and position.
Check my tag for the position.

Merge visible all of the layers, copy and paste that as a new image, add the correct copyright, your name and save as png.
